What a pearl ! Sofia and Andre work so hard to ensure your stay in Marrakech is memorable. They are excellent hosts - their staff are also fantastic. We ate at the Dar every night as the food was absolutely delicious - breakfasts were in true Moroccan style, with changes daily and fresh ingredients. We couldn't recommend Dar Sholmes highly enough as a place to stay in Marrakech. Thank you Sofia and Andre! Garry

"The Dar Sholmes was key to making our Marrakech holiday such a success. The owners and their staff make their visitors so welcome and the beautiful ambience of the Riad help you to appreciate the culture, the people and the traditions of Morocco. The food was 'par excellence' - we eat at their restaurant every evening - you won't find better. The varied menus gave us a wonderful experience of French/Moroccan dishes - which were obviously prepared with care, skill and expertise. It was very reasonably priced - for this three course gourmet experience. You won't be disappointed ....Audrey

"You might travel the world, but we don't think that you could find the hospitality we found at Dar Sholmes. Sofia, Andre and the women who work there could not have been more sincerely helpful, interested and concerned with our needs and desires. And always with a wonderful spirit. Sofia's helpful emails were delightful and set the sense of warmth we found upon our arrival. The riad is beautiful as well as being extremely comfortable and is located in an area where one can feel a genuine sense of local life. The breakfast is delicious and abundant, and the meals we ate there equalled or surpassed any meal we had in a restaurant. I don't think we will ever encounter again the warm comfort we felt there.
